Putting an 84 carb in an 82 accord

I've got a 1982 two door accord LX. I've got to replace my fuel cut off diaphragm, which is a part that's been discontinued. I went looking for it in junkyards, and I've found one from a 1984 accord. Does anyone know if these two parts are compatible? I've also found an 84 carb, and am thinking about putting that in, because every issue I've had has been with the carb.
If anyone knows anything about compatibility between these early 80s accords I'd really appreciate it!
