    Is it worth it?

The guy is asking 500 for the car. I offered him 300. I am supposed to go look at it this weekend. Supposedly it only has 86,000 miles on it. Carbed and automatic. Think its fixable?

    Thanks

    Re: Is it worth it?

If you are planning on using it as your car, I would not recommend it to you, even if you only pay 300 bucks you will have to pay a lot more to make it drivable (pay more than 300 bucks but for a good base). But if you are planning on using it for other thing I can't tell you.
Well that's only my point of view

I say go for it. If you've got the know-how and the money, it's worth it. That motor isn't even broken in! Be patient, determined, and positive. The resources on this site have already helped me tremendously and I'm brand new here. Make it happen.

Challenge accepted! I would love to have this car as a daily. My goal is to have it drive-able before i graduate. Lets make that happen!

Got some work done on it tonight. Its worse than i hoped, but i haven't given up yet. Worst case scenario i re-shell it. But i would really rather not have to go that route.

LOL. That's going to be a handful. Have fun with your new project.

How badly bent is the frame?

    Re: Is it worth it?

Lol yeah I'm very lucky to have that big of a work space. Got some work done on the car today. Cut allot of the bad corner out, just enough to free the harness and fix the spot where it was cut. Got a fuse box and a battery in it, and drove it around the block!! Runs soooo smooth! I cant wait to get to drive it on a regular basis.

Thanks! My plan for this one is lower 1'-1.5', roof rack, window visors, some nice polished aluminum wheels, and some fog lights. Try to keep it as oem as possible.
