What do you think about wiper wings?

You know the little wings you can put on your windshield wipers. I guess when your driving the wind is supposed to force the wipers against the windshield (end up with a cleaner windshield) What do you think about these things? Cool or not. I could probably get some carbon fiber ones if I wanted. I guess I haven't decided whether or not they or cool and I need your guy's opinions to help me decide.

I guess these things bolt onto your exsisting wiper blade by two bolts. I don't know how long they actually are, probably only 12" or so.

Come on someone has to have an opinion on these things. I saw some cars in I think Import Tuner with these wiper wings on the car. But they weren't Carbon Fiber, they were just fiberglass and painted to match the car.

They just looked ok on a tuner car though. I doubt they would look that good on my 3G. That's all I needed to know. I was impartial about them anyways.

on a 4g they look decent, take it out from a 4g and try it on. it could not be 'that' bad.

Well I just found out that they aren't real carbon fiber. They are the carbon fiber look. I think those would look really bad. I would probably end up painting them the color of my car if I got them. Maybe I'll just buy them and if I don't like them I'll sell them to someone else.

The one on my drivers side is from a VW Golf. It does really work well. I don't think it looks ricey at all but that's my opinion.

I have had one for my driver side window for about 3 years, and it works pretty well. As for looks, I honestly think they look really ricey, but as long as they are functional, who cares.

Well I think it would fit right in with my ricey car. I just won two wiper wings for $9.49 They're CF look but I think I will paint them to match my car. I don't like putting noticable fake stuff on my car. Like my shift boot is CF look but that isn't as noticable as wiper wings.

Actually I just got them in the mail today. I might just spray them black though. I don't really like the carbon fiber look that they came with.

They were easy as hell to put on. No drilling required. Just some screws and some brackets. Oh yeah and some 3M tape too.
