    Cool Repaint!

It's Christmas and I'm like a kid. Repainting the 89 LX. On its way to a decent restoration. A couple of pics attached... We are doing it right and taking our time. Sandblasting and reprinting all the original wheel covers tomorrow. Sorry, I'm just proud. Hoping others will post pics of bodywork and refinishing.

    Re: Repaint!

Just pulled out of the paint booth. Reinstalled the fog lights and tail lights and emblems. More/better pics to come. Factory color.

    Repaint!

Thank you! Before and after wheel covers. 400 grit on an electric sander. A can of Rustoleum wheel paint (silver, for plastic or metal) available at Lowe's. I haven't blacked out the H's in the middle yet. Overall an easy job and costs about $10 if you already have a sander. I have 2 spares that I am working on today. One right and one left. I'm sure the color is not the exact factory color but I did my best.

    Re: Repaint!

Definitely. I picked up some trim paint. It's sort of paint and bumper coating combined I guess.
