I backed into another car on Sunday in Seattle and it was my fault due to my momentary lapse of brain usage. Their license plate hit my trunk, their bolts securing the license plate dented my car very sharply but small dents. There is a bigger dent (3 inches maybe) on the very corner of the trunk lid, drivers side. The impact pushed the trunk up slightly but not that noticeable from the side. It did not hit the lights and everything else is okay. I was wondering, should I try to repair it, and if so how, or should I just get a new lid. This is my first accident and hopefully my last, I just can't believe I did that. What are the repairs going to run me?
