thank you!
680 bucks!!!!!! bullshit! Nah man i need a company that just does the shipping. I already have a tranny im buying from a guy in CT for $150, now i need a way to get it to AZ, something like UPS...
Ups, fedex, usps are going to rape you as well. You need to use a truck carrier like roadway (only name that comes to mind other then apa who fucked me with their incompitance). It cost me $140 to have a tranny shiped from california to pennsylvania. Shipping stuff like that isn't cheap. Honestly I don't think getting a 3g tranny shiped that far is worth it (unless its new for that price). You should be able to find one used localy for less then the $300 its going to cost you to get that one easily.
andy
Yea i agree their gonna jack you either way u look at it
***off Topic***hey andy i could see that you have a 2nd gen! yea! i have a 1984 Honda Accord LX 2nd gens rule!
wow how hard was it to add a 3rd gen engine?
btw its a zc tranny for my crx, when i put the tranny in im going to sell it. so i really dont care about the price that much.
You can get a ZC tranny from a first gen integra as well cant you? Still shouldn't be to hard to source from a junkyard.
ghst2300, It bolts right in useing the 2nd gen brackets. Use the 2nd gen ps pump, 3rd gen ps bracket, 3rd gen carbed alt, 2nd gen alt brackets, and I'm not sure about the ac. If you want to keep that you'll need to use the 3rd gen compressor and brackets, but you'll have to find a way to tie it into the 2nd gen system. I just tossed mine. You can keep the 2nd gen trans (cant use a 3rd gen, axles wont fit) or a 2nd gen carbed prelude trans. The latter is a much better choice.
andy
that shit seems like it would be more expensive, its an 89 crx si and in AZ we HAVE to have AC.
you can ship it with greyhound if its under 100 pounds.....
thats were i work except im in canada so i dont know how they do it in the states...
they ship by weight and destination.,.....so it all matters on how far its going then.....
just a thought....
BEn
89 Accord 2dr Coupe..not a hatchback!...5speed..sunroof..spoiler..custom carb intake..custom exhaust..hood scoop....312000km
If you want to drive down to Tucson I know where you could find an 84' Prelude 5-speed at a cheap yard down here.
Mike
k but i dont feel like buying all that other shit if i buy an integra tranny, I'd rather just buy a crx tranny without all the trouble.
