intake manifold question

well, last saturday i blew up my a20a3 in my 88 accord lx-i, slung a rod or some shit, but anyways the only new engine i could find was the bt from an 86 lx-i, so i have gotten my intake manifold off of my a20a3 on the bt right now, i havn't finished the swap yet but will the dual stage intake still work on the bt??? all help would be appreciated

YES

It runs off manifold vacuum... if you don't hook up the vacuum the throttle plates stay open. There will be a slight difference in power at lower rpms depending on what you do.

thanx alot thats all i needed to know, but what do you mean depends on what i do to it?

Depends on if you hook the secondary throttle diaphragm to a vacuum source or not.
