    Weird stuff going on...

When I shift (manual) my steering wheel suddenly moves. This happens in every gear, and I dont know what is causing it. Also when I brake, my car veers to the right, and of course the steering wheel moves to the right by itself also.

it could also be a caliper piston that is stuck out farther than the other. not real sure though

If you're going to the mechanic, just tell him the problem he'll do the rest.

Sounds like your caliper is binding more than the other like loco said. Jack up the front and try to turn the tires by hand. See if it's relatively easy to rotate.

    that reminds me

the oil change isnt for another 1000 miles. it ran out of oil. I had to add some, and, its still leaking even with a new oil pan gasket. wtf.

I am beginning to dislike this car... new brakes, water pump, timing, oil pan/gasket, vacuum leaks, idle problems, carb problems, now this... and I still need a ball joint and my damn moonroof leaks. But hey, the cruise control works. Oh yeah, over 400 miles to the tank. that's nice. sometimes nearing 500.

If it was the mechanic that changed the oil pan gasket, just bring it back to him. Shouldn't be any charge to fix it.

Did you say new brakes? Did you just changed one side? Maybe that's the problem root of your braking and shifting problems.

No car in the world has indestructable parts. It depends on how you take care of it, and know the problems that it will cause the other parts if you don't fix it.

If you think that's bad, well my timing belt broke and I bent my pistons and valves after only having it for 6 days. And then the clutch went out. So tough it out dude. It's a good car, really.

I baby my car. The owner before me lived by salt water and didnt keep up on maintence. I got it for 1900 and at the time it was a good deal. Now I guess it isnt. I replaced all the brakes, and the front left caliper had a blown gasket. Think that could contribute? I didnt have money at the time to fix it

I looked at a CRX a few days ago. 95,000 miles and they want 2000. Tempting.

Im in so far with this damn thing I guess I'll just keep it. I guess it would look cool with a new paint job. Cheap. Any ideas?

If there isn't any rust on the CRX go for it. I've been looking for an X with no rust for cheap for awhile.

It appears to had been in an accident a long time ago. the repainted portions are rough compared to stock portions. the fender paint is cracking, not sure what is up with that. windshield is cracked. about 60% tread left on tires, and rims probably worth half the value of the car. the interior is blue though. yick.

Dude it sounds like they used too much bondo. Paint won't crack usually it's a sign of bad autobody work. Ask for a lower price. Way lower.

How much do you have? Personally when there's a bad body job, there's bad other things. I wouldn't go over $1000.

I dont have anything. I wantto just sell my accord. At least, that was the intention.

I should offer 900 and see what happens. That would be awesome if she accepted.
