Greetings. Noob here, just bought 2 old Hondas. I'm hooked.

So I have been admiring Hondas for some time and finally decided to get one when a buddy asked if I wanted to buy his "ghetto blaster" a 1988 accord sedan with flames spray painted on the hood. It was ugly but the price was right. $600 came with newish tires, the ac blows cold and everything works, mostly. I've been driving it for a few weeks and then saw a sweet deal on craigslist, 1983 accord hatchback with 92'000 original miles. I had to have it. The guy said it needed work probably a head gasket, and it smoked when I test drove it. But it hasn't blown a puff of smoke since I picked it up. I would like to post pictures but I need to have 5 posts.

When I got it it wouldn't idle. Today I spent the better part of the day cleaning the carb...holy hell. That thing had more wires and vacuum lines than a submarine. I found all the little parts I lost. And it worked when I put it on! Bonus! It does still have a bit of a high idle.
