Thread: What would be the best FREE mod to do to a stock accord to make it look better?

    Question What would be the best FREE mod to do to a stock accord to make it look better?

    Just wondering what free mods would make my car look better. For example cutting out the front grille or something. Give me some ideas. It's a 4dr lx in white.

    I don't know about FREE, but a cheap mod that will greatly improve looks is a good old wash and wax.

    Yeah, right. I dont know if you looked outside lately but it's snowing. I dont think I am going to wash my car in the snow so it can roll down my driveway in the solid sheet of ice the water created.

    well a real cheap mod is to spray your rear lights all red. Or you could respray your molding black, that really makes the car look nice.

    Also you could removie the pinstripe and the trim on the doors if you have it. When I first got my Accord that's what I did and it made it look a lot better.

    If you are truely getto like gettoaccord then cut your springs its cheap on a short term basis but expect to buy some new springs/struts in about 2-3 months....

    speed holes, just take a pic and punch some holes i ur hood, it maks the car go faster, plus it looks alot better...:lol

    Oh yeah Take my wiper things off.. in Washington. Yeah, I know! I'll just crash my car now.

    I dont know about free, but I bought hubcaps, and they looked like shit. So I put the stock granny racer hubcaps back on. Word.

    Tuesday I am off to get the oil leak fixed that was supposedly fixed at the shop. Then after that... the carb gets to be rebuilt. FUN.

    Now THAT is cheap.

    Jack some dudes NSX engine and install it in the backseat/trunk. Take the trans too and any other relevant parts to custom mounting the engine in the rear. it owuldn't look better but it would be a lot faster.
    Mods:
    Kenwood Head Unit
    Kenwood 6.5's allaround
    Rockford 150s Amp
    Pioneer 12" sub

    Planned mods:
    6x9's mounted next to my sub
    maybe a 2 inch drop.

    Next Car: 1996 prelude vtec

    take armoral and whipe down about everything in your car (moldings, dash, steering wheel, shifter, the arm rest things on the doors, antena hub thing, and about anything else that could use a shine). clean your windows. wash and wax. hmm..... just clean the hell out of it and after that you could try makeing the clear turn signals.

    i would agree with the washing and waxing idea. Hell, I dont even own a 3G but every time one passes by i turn and look because it is such a nice looking car, stock. If and when I get a 3G I will not change a thing appearance wise.

    ram it into a wall at high speed in reverse.
    That should give u a spoiler look when ure boot lid lifts up.
    And it will also look cool because it will b a 4 door hatch!

    one of the sweeter for free mods would be to:
    oen your trunk
    pop out the little door going to the tail lights
    switch the bulbs

    this will make your brake light s look sweeter

    it's not that great but it is free so....
