    Weber 32/36 help vacuum leak?

    So I recently aquired a 32/36 kit for my 89 lx from carbs unlimited. I got it installed and replaced my plugs and wires while I was at it. I was sure I plugged everything but when I started it up it idles at 3500 and won't come down. So now I'm hunting for vacuum leaks and I'm at a loss. Is there anything I may be missing? There is a part that appears to be missing from my carb that I've seen on others, could that be the cause?
    I have pictures of this and other places I think may be leaking, please have a look and tell me if anything seems off. Thanks in advance.

    Applied vacuum to these and got nothing, do they need to be plugged?

    You may need to adjust your throttle cable and choke. look up how to adjust the idle on a weber 32/36, you may find the answer to your problems. For the open lines i would run a small hose from one to the other as you see in the picture).

    The part on the carb that you think could be missing isn't. The two Weber carbs I have never had anything there (brand new carbs) I don't have any of the vacuum lines that are in your pictures hooked up to mine, so I'm thinking maybe it's in the linkages on the carb that could be to blame. Don't forget to put a spring on the carb too help the butterflies fully close or what your describing could happen.

    Alright thanks for the replies guys, I'll try these first thing after work tomorrow as its 10pm right now.

    I'll post back here with the solution I found or any other problem.

    Alright sorry it's been so long since I posted back here I've been very busy. :/
    Anyway I tried all the suggestions posted here and I got it working flawlessly. I've had it going for a week now and I've put 600kms on it in that time without incident. Thanks for all the help guys!
