    Could be gray, green, black, or white. You'll usually see a little blob of it around the leads. Once in a while, the capacitor might split/crack on the body, and you'll see it there.

    a reltad question ! what does a capacitor really do ! i mean i know they store energy but what is that useful in a circuit ! ?
    the same question for an inductor ( coil ) ?

    Can someone do me a favor and open up their ecu and tell me what the 2 capacitor rating are. Thanks
