just paid $450 for her. This is my 2nd accord, had a red '88 lx i bought for $175, then ended up selling for $400. This is also a spare car that will become my summer toy. She needs a clutch and an alternator, othe than that, its a nice car.

Yeah, i had a maroon one a year ago. Dropped a new windshield, radiator, and gas tank on it. Clutch started to go and didn't want to mess with it. The guy wanted $650 for this one, but I talked him down 200. She doesn't have that much undercarriage rust, and its plenty drivable now. Just want to get it all set and put it on the road with everything fixed in the summer. Nothin beats my big Buick though, I'm a big car person, but I liked my lil honda, so I bought another.
Nice find...now is it me, or does that thing already look like it's got hyperwhite conversions?

Theres nothing added to it yet. Only thing new is the coopers all the way around.
whats that black line on the side of the car above the the moldings.... see it ?

I really have no idea. My maroon one didn't have that molding strip. Someone must of added it on. Also, the gear shifter says there's only 4 gears, this right for an 88 LX?
It was a dealer added option. It is an extra moulding strip to reduce dings from shopping carts and idiots who open their doors without looking and smack into the side of your car.Originally posted by Neuspeed87lx
