yes it improves performance and it you get rid of all that crap that's hard to work with !

Well isn't that how to for the stock carb without a choke? What about removing them if you have a Weber 32/36 with an electric choke?
Huh? if you have a weber with electric choke you can remove all the vacuum lines except the: PCV hose, Brake Booster, Distributor Advance you plug all the rest of the vacuum ports and connect the wire on the choke to the wire on the rear of the intake manifold.
If you have the keihin you'll need some of the vacuum lines in place for the choke puller and fast idle unloader. i haven't worked it out yet and don't have the stock parts i would need to figure it out.

The mechanic plugged the vacuum lines but I don't know what the brake booster and distributor advance hose is. It's been a long time since I read the thread on how to remove them. You just remove them the same way, except leave those 3 hoses. Got any pics so I can visualize this? Or pics showing the 2 hoses I know know. Thanks
