how did u get those 6 x 9's in there, arent there some bars in the way? the people at car toys said i cant have 6 x 9's

you could always buy custom boxes off crutchfield. 2 for 30$. Just make sure you have/create the room for them.

They said you cannot put 6x9s where the regular rear speakers go? Or do you mean in a custom spot like that car? If they told you that you cant replace your rear stock speakers with 6x9s then they dont know what the hell they are talking about. I just bought some Kenwood 6x9s for the rear and with about an hour or so of work, they fit fine.

Only thing I had to do to make them fit was I had to use a tap to rethread the screw holes where the speakers connect to the mounts, since I had to use longer screws with an ever so slightly different thread.

Yeah i have never had any problems with 6x9s in my coupes and i have used a few different sets. Honda made that ring so its raised up and the speakers clear everything.
