    other easier swaps than b20a

    Very body is swaping with JDM B20A MOTOR. Is there an easier vtec motor i can swap in my 1986 honda accord hatchback dx:pimp:

    NO! they will all be the same. u will have to convert to EFI unless you convert to carb power

    The b18 or b16 are much easer than the b20 imo from the research i have done.I would do the b18 myself just personal opion.

    explain WHY b16 or b18 is easier?

    the b20 is practically a drop in swap. not to mention you can keep it carbed... whereas the b16 and b18 you need to buy a whole kit just to put it in. plus the outrageous costs of the engines themselves...

    though i agree. a b18c5 would be nice!

    Trust me both setups have many pros and cons i have been trying to decide for a long time but i decided to stick with the B20A cause of Torque and i dont have to spend 1-2k on mounting hardware. And Juan ran into trouble doing his B16 swap recently and he has had one before so its not as easy as said but i guess it depends on your mechanical backgroung. I think both swaps entail some light work but nothing that cant be done without proper tools and some research.
