    Unhappy Blown F*ckin Motor

    well, yup its dead now, blown motor, the sorry ass shop that talked to my dad didnt even tell him how it was blown, but they wanna charge me 1500 bucks for a rebuilt b18a...HAHA...oh the tears they hurt....im stuck drivin the accord until we can figure something out...its either b18b/b20b/b16a to hrll with b18a...anyone wanna buy some parts fof my car?

    actually i was just cruisin home form work @ about 45 miles per hour and all of a sudden teh oil light came on, and then it started makin some loud ass poppin sound, so i drove it the last mile home and then had it towed to a local "reputible n cheap" place..

    Was it low on oil or someting....happened to me once, with a POS Ford I drove years ago.

    Hmmm, your teg is a auto, to I wouldn't even bother with the B16a. I'd do the B18a.

    b18a? no..sorry my car dosent come factory with an a20a, so the b18a aint shit to me... if i can get a b18b then maybe ill go with it and a b18a 5 spd tranny but for now im driven the 3gee damn that 3gee, dman it and its missing corner lenses..

    btw im parting out my car, and putting the money towards another car, im not going to bothe rposting in marketplace since this is a 3geez site...any1 wanna do a headlight/tailight swap?

    ive seen people save the b18s when ran out of oil. If the cams didnt break and the bores arent scored you can somtimes get away with new rod bearings as long as the car didnt overheat or break a rod or somthing, but if the crank and cam journals are scarred up a bit youll need a new engine.
