    1989 accord dx a20a1 restore

Hello just wanted to say mad respect to everyone on this forum, I have already learned so much! This is my 1989 Honda Accord DX. It has the single carb a20a1 in it and tranny has about 186,000. It has sat for ten years and some fresh gas and a battery drove it from my dads house to mine about 20 miles away. Unfortunately in the process I burned up the distributor , but other than that I was very pleased in overall performance since it had sat for so long. Any advice or constructive criticism is welcome as I am in no way a expert. Not for sure exactly what I'm trying to do with the car in the long term .

As you start to drive your car, don't be shocked if it starts to spring leaks. 20+ Year old car and the fact that it sat for ten years is hard on the rubber seals in our cars. Keep a watch for oil/water leaks, better to catch and fix them, then to blow an engein. Or your car might not leak at all, some will and others won't. Honda tranny/Power steering fluid is the only fluid you should use, you would be lucky to find 1 out of 100 on here that that says different. Give it love and it will love you, most of the time lol. Ps. The surch place is in he upper right, it's helped me a lot. A picture or two would also be nice

I've pretty much got the interior out haven't even started on the engine yet. Like I said I burned up the distributor so I've hit a cross roads. Quick question anyone know how to tell the differencein the distributor types?
