dcoe help

finally found dcoe's in the junk yard, 40 for both. there on a prelude. will those fit on my 89 dx? and do i need the prelude intake manifold? i'm going tomorrow on my day off, what all do i need to take? Thank's

DCOE's on a prelude? thats strange. are you sure it isnt just the prelude with two carbs? If they are DCOE's you are a very lucky man. What year prelude?

You sure they're DCOEs? 84-87 non si preludes came fitted with a pair of SU side draft carbs, though I do remember someone scored a pair of SK weber clones off a prelude at a junkyard. DCOE carbs look like this:

I think you found the prelude dual carb set up. I highly doubt someone would throw out ann engine fitted with DCOEs to the junkyard.

You would be surprised what you find in the junkyard. I have found a set of JBL speakers, 4 matching Polk Audio speakers, a pair of Infinity speakers and 2 Cerwin Vega subs in one junkyard within an hour. Ive seen a set of DCOE's on a Prelude myself before but the junk lady wanted too much for em'.
