will the rims fit?
a friend of mine has offered to sell me corvette rims for $100. all i know is they are 17" rims but i should find out soon about the exact size . I have done some research and i THINK they are 17x8.5 but im not sure. would they fit or would i have to get my fenders rolled? please help.

well, if the lug pattern is 4x100 then they'll fit, maybe... you'd definitly have to roll your fenders, and they'd have to be 45mm offset? i'm not too sure about all this stuff, Jim's the guy for this. i think they might be too wide though. and i doubt they're a 4x100 lug

HOLY SHIT! the vette has 5 lugs... we have 4... the vette is backspaced for a typical RWD car and will not fit our car anyway
if i wasnt so far... i would buy them for my dads Trans Am... but sorry... they wont fit
and another thing... the tires would have to be like 12 inches wide... the 205/40/17's are 8 inches! the vette tires are 275/40/17
