    Hey all,

Not much has changed. Weather here has been wet, wet, or wet. The Wife is getting roughly 27.5 mpg with 75%-80% rural driving. So not too shabby. Gonna fool with the fuel system though. She is fueling at "E" for 10.5 gallons and my understanding is it's a 15.9 gallon tank. So think the sending unit is off.....but at least it is working lol

    Hey boys and girls.

Pulled a 29.8 vacuum on the AC and held for a week so gonna get it recharged with R12 (have a buddy who can do it he buys it in 30 gallon barrels lol)

Replaced the cruise switch on the steering wheel (the Resume was having issues)

Had to replace the Vacuum Advance, the Retard part was broke off so it could only advance lol. Anways replaced the Advance and MAN it runs really good now (wonder why :P)

Got 31 mpg to Medford Saturday at 70 with cruise on. Ran damn perfect.

If you went OBD1 it'd run even better. :P

It's a rather involved conversion. If you're just DDing it, it might not be worth it.

Still, it'll make your car run so much more smoothly and open up a lot of doors as far as tuning and engine management goes.

Found a Window Regulator for the Driver door for only $10. Now the window works flawless (always had a smal gap at top back). Now to find one for the Passenger side front.

Replace both Ball joints that were bad

    Replaced Sway Arm bushings.

    Car still running pretty good.

Re: '88 Accord LXI To Keep Wife happy

    Hey all it's been awhile.

Unfortunately this will be my last post on this project.

In November I bought a 1998 Pontiac GTP fully loaded. My wife in turn fell in love with it. So today we bought her a 1998 Grand Prix GT with all the bells and whistles. It took a bit cause it was rare for a GT with heated seats AND HUD but we finally located one and my wife liked it. So, we sold the Accord to our daughter. The Accord was a nice vehicle but the Grand Prix is much more power, FAR more "luxurious" and actually gets slightly better mileage.

SO thanks for following along and maybe I'll update important parts from my daughter's adventures.
