I'm in a desperate need for a replacement transmission for a 89 accord lx. Has to be a 5-spd.
If not a trans then if anybody happens to have a rebuild kit for the trans I can use that instead.

When I rebuilt my trans, I used a kit from Transtar. It was good.

Do you happen to recall off the top of your head the general price range it was? I would call Transtar but it's almost midnight so I'm sure they are closed.

Did that rebuild kit come with the syncros?
I bought a rebuild kit (with synchros) from transtar and paid about $158. This was under my shop's rate though so it may be a few dollars more
my trans company also used the transtar kit and it does come with syncros because my trans shop didnt install it back and had to take it back because it would not go in to 3rd or 4th gear
