Use a carborated wireing harness to replace broken injected harness

So my car took a crap. 1988 accord dx its carborated a friend wants to buy the car (cheep) just for the harness and some other parts. Wile removing the upper control arm he drilled a hole to get the bolt out instead of waiting for me to show the bolts under the hood. When he drilled he hit the fuse panel wires and wants to use my dx for his lix replacement harness. My question is will it work?
