    Tires of a Passat

    Hey,

I have a friend that is about to get rid of his passat and I was looking at his wheels. They don't look too bad (they are deffinately better than stock) but they are a little different. They are 195 60 r14 and almost the same size as the stock 185 70 r13 tires that i have on right now. Would the wider tire help for the traction? Am i a traitor for using parts off a german car? The problem that I have is that i just got new tires this summer and his are kinda worn. I dont want to trade right away, because i would just be wasting the tires that i have on right now. But if i wait until my tires are worn it will prolly be a while before i get some good looking tires on here.
Would his tires throw off my speedometer?

the VW wheels have 35 mm of offset... and if its a passat, its probably a 5 bolt pattern... if you get these wheels and they are 4 bolt and they bolt on... they will stick out of the fender lip!

You cant use those wheels but you can use those tires if you get new wheels, or old lxi wheels. Also civic and some teg wheels work, as well as del sol but 90 and up accord WONT FIT!
