    Si-R Conversion?

I know this will probably sound stupid when I ask, but...

What steps would I have to take to make an LX-i or an SE-i into an Si-R. AND NO ONE SAY "put an Si-R sticker on the back of your LX" OR I SWEAR.... I'LL DO SOMETHING.... I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT YET

And I wouldn't be doing this conversion with my car (LX), I'd probably sell or trade mine and get an LX-i or SE-i. Come to think of it... I probably wouldn't do this conversion anyway, but it would help just to know.

By the way, I don't want to be a ricer, I just want a car that really sticks out among the other 200-some 3gens in Olympia/Lacey/etc....

if by "Si-R" you mean the engine that comes with it, put the engine you car 3G, or put "Si-R" shoulder pads on your seatbelts lol

So, Si-R is really just the engine? Would a B-series motor count?

I kind of thought there was more involved in converting it. That was a let down.

i dont think an accord was ever badged Si-R, there were and there are Si accords, not a Si-R.

just do the regular performance upgrades and suspension upgrades and some appearance upgrades, you will be better than the Si versions.

    WRONG!!!!!!
SI-R model started at 5 gen accord.
    it came with H22A engine.
As we all know by now, H22 is possible to fit in our accord with A LOT of modifications to the engine bay, and you will need A LOT OF MONEY to do that swap.
it is easy to do the B16, B18 or any B series engine swap.

Okay... I guess there is no Si-R... my bad...
Now, is there a Euro-R? THAT is what I've been wanting to do ever since I bought the car. Oh, wait, I don't care if there wasn't a Euro-R for a 3g, I'll do it anyway.

you didn't understand, there where a SIR model but honda didn't putt the label on accord till they made 5th gen accord.
if you are asking about 3 geez than no, there where no 3 geez with SIR badge.
i am not sure about Euro-R.
why do you want SIR or Euro-R so bad?
it is not the badge that matters, it is what under the hood.

SIR was civic too, Canadian Euro and JDM could get em. Would dropping an Integra or civic type-R engine/tranny (a real one, no stickers) into your car make it a real Type-R worthy of the badge... you be the judge.

I realize that the badge doesn't mean anything, and I do want to put an engine in. I'm not trying to be rice-ish or anthing like that, I just want my 3gen to stand out a bit. I'd like my car to turn heads while people say "what the hell? Si-R?" or "Euro-R?" Maybe even show them that a 3gen can be fast?

Well, that, and I want a project. I would feel fulfilled if I could do something like that to my car.

i thought sleepers where cars that looked stock form the outside but were hella fast. i would think that a ricemoble would give it away to more ppl.

Im pretty sire that the SI-R was not made in the us. It is the Euro version of the U.S "Si"... As in Civic Si / Civic SI-R... and they started later on like in the 5th gens. There was no 95 or 94 SI-R... if you saw one then it was just a sticker.

dude the euro r is rare as shit even in europe. you should read threw stuff on this sight before you post stuff like this. i believe that there is no way to "make your car" into a Si-r or something (unless thats the was it was stock) like that untill you put everything that came in that type of car into your car. the only "type Rs" made (for honda this was the civic, integra, and accord)were never sold in the US and the ones that are here had to be imported from somewhere else. also, if you want a sleeper, then keep your car looking stock and mild, don't even give a hint of what your packing. that way peeps think "oh its just some lame ass accord" and think they are going to make an easy kill, then you bend them over a knee and spank them w/ your car.

well anything that is like a 'Type-S', 'Type R', 'Euro R', 'Sir". 'Si" and what not are nothing a lot different than your basic car. Considering ur car is fuel injected and stuff the major differences that are usually added are

    - a slightly bigger engine (larger bore, ratios, etc)

    - better tranny

    - better brakes

    - better shocks

    - Better tires

    - better exhaust

    - better seating arrangement and sometimes even the seatbelts

    - your gauge cluster and whatnot

    - finally a wing or a body kit with HID conversions and something like a badge that says its different

So basically, if u want to, you can make it better than all those SIR, Type S and whatever.
