    Boomslang OBD1 harness: Dumb question

So I'm attempting the OBD1 conversion on my hatch. I'm using Cygnus's adapter plate, Bosch universal 4-wire O2 sensor, '93 distributor without internal coil, a chipped P06, and an '86-'87 Boomslang conversion harness.

Here's where I'm kinda stuck: On the distributor, there's a yellow/green wire that this writeup labels as "Igniter Input", and according to the same writeup, needs to be wired to ECU pins (A21 and A22). The weird thing is that these pins are already connected to the OBD0 side in the harness, to pin A08 (cold advance solenoid). So it would seem that I need to cut the white wire going to the advance solenoid in the black box and connect it to this wire on the distributor...right? It just sounds slightly strange to me.

Does this sound right to everyone? I'm just wanting to make sure that this is absolutely what I need to do, so I don't fuck anything up.

I figured it out. With the harness I bought, I did in fact need to cut the white wire going to the vacuum box and connect it to the igniter control module. Kinda weird, but also kinda clever. Makes use of an otherwise now-useless wire, and it's one less thing to run through the firewall.
