100 in 4th gear

i was on I-95 in Georgia and I hit 100 mph runnin from the police in 4th gear. He didn't catch me cause i hit the Florida state Line and left his ass. I topped out at 120 in 5th. And everything on my car is stock. except for my Focal 18 in rims, and my intake.

usually when your getting chased by police they will radio to the other state to start chasing you. If the police are chasing you they won't just give up, they'll radio to the police in the other state to get you. But, I do believe you when you said you hit a 100 in 4th. I do that when I'm racing on the hwys.

when i was tryin to top my car out on the interstate i was at about 115 or 120 with it in the redzone, once i swiched to fifth it took forever to get to 125 where it stayed

It really depends on the mods, you have for your top speed.

123-125 is about right for a stock lx-i/se-i with my mods its about 127-129 on flat ground. not on a hill. on a downgrade its still 129 but i get there much faster.

I can get 126 with my Carb auto. It pulls hard up to 115 then slows down to a crawl ....117..119.....122.........123...............124 .............................125.................. ....................126 *ENGINE BLOWS*

dude, if you all get out the honda manual for our cars, it says the speed you can reach red lineing it in each gear. it breaks down to something like 1st- 32, 2nd-53, and 3rd 87, it doesn't show the stuff for 4th and 5th. oh, that was for manual, it had another thing for autos but i didn't pay attenction to that. lol, i read that damn book cover to cover.

wow sweet. i always wanted to know that. i know that now my 2nd reaches about 57-58 before redline. after mods

Same here, my rpms climb so fast now. I'm going to need a monster tach blocking my vision just so I don't go too far. Normally I can feel when to shift but with the headers and straight pipe I can't really tell because it just pulls like a mofo and I don't want to stop

nope ... i dont belive him ... it makes alot of sence that the police would just stop chasing him after he gets into the next state
