    that little knob?!

    whats the knob that pulls out to the leftside under/behind the steering column do? it was on my old civic too, and i have nooooo clue wtf it does.
    Mods:
    90/91 CRX Si Wheels on Yokohama's, HP Racing 4'' oval exhaust, Arospeed Coilovers (0-4" drop, slammed at about 3.5" now), Modified Integra Short Ram Intake, Clear Front Bumper Lights(wired on w/ hyperwhite bulbs), Sidemarkers, White Interior Trim(Console, Vents, Handles, etc...), Removed Emblems, Type-R shift knob, Aiwa CD Deck, Sony Xplod 6x9's

    17.06 @ 80.9 mph

    Yep it's so you can adjust the tilt of the steering wheel.

    Mine doesnt work, no clue why. it works in one position and the rest it slides around in

    You might have to jiggle it a bit if it doesn't rest in more than one place. (the knob or wheel) Jiggling fixes everything.

    that thing was totally a mystery for such a lot time. i thought that it was some kind of sex toy for those long, boring commutes... lol

    Question

    I had my car for two years then my wife got one and I was rideing with her and I saw her use it and i was like wtf. I was wondering what that was.

    i never knew what it was either until one day i pulled it out and i was doing something else and i went to pick something off the floor and i pushed it down. i was like holy shit i broke it. so then i leaned on the stealing wheel to pick the thing off the floor and it went down and i was like whoa.

    yahhhh, finally. thats what ive always thought but i never got the push down part... ahh tilt steering wheel just another honda luxury
