Guess what, My car got broke into!!!

I have no pics, but the smashed my driver side window, and took my cd player and like 40 cd's. They were really unprofessional too, they smashed up my heating controls and shit. so that whole black part is just really fucked up.

My car was at a car repair shop last night where i did a "night Drop off" they broke into a nissan 240 too. that guy said he had like $1200 worth of shit stolen.

And yes i do have an alarm. so it was probably screaming blooding murder all night long.

I was just wondering about the insurance thing but i would guess most shops would say they are not responcible. I feel you pain as i lost my whole system, got a nice hole in my door, and a hacked up ignition from them trying to steal my car. People will always steal which bothers me but you can only do so much to keep your stuff and im doing the best i can to keep my car safe.

I know that my alarms that I've had, had a starter disable so even if they had a key it wouldn't work.

I just spend close to $500 on my alarm. If you even jiggle the car a little bit it will go off. Mind you an alarm can only do so much and if the theives want your shit or want to vandalize your car bad enough they'll do it. Like RobT5580 said there is only so much you can do to prevent it.

the shop's insurance company said that they wont cover the car because i dropped it off in non-business hours. and they did not have possession of my car during their buisness hours.

and about the alarm only being able to do so much, thats what i always say. i have a kill switch on my car too and i always said, "they can steal every thing in my car but the car itself isn't going anywhere.

Been broken into twice in a year here before I moved out of HELL (read: shity part of Altanta), 2nd time they set off the alarm. Both times killed the CD deck. First time though, they stole my tools out of the trunk!! Still replacing some of those.
It sucks no matter how you do it; least you weren't nearby, cause they may jack you too.
