Is that the stock carb with a different air cleaner on it? Looks weird with all of the vacuum lines still there.

Nice work man, welcome to the boards. Clean engine as well...Yeah, I think alot of ppl as well as I would like to know what kinda of drop you have on there man...??
That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Wow, that's absolutely amazing-that car does not look like it's 20 years old!

DAYUM!
-2ndGenGuy
...it looks like it came out straight from japan.
-MessyHonda
WOW u look like a friend of mine... nice car tho, what kinda air filter is that?
It's K&N... if you can upgrade to the next tallest filter, you'll get a bit more airflow.
- llia
hey thanks guys for all the positive feedback. for those who were wondering about the drop, its 3" there (set for show) but it was almost impossible to drive with all the potholes here! and they're pacesetter headers with a catback exhaust, not sure about the wrap though cuz my friend put it on.
and no Coroncho, im not 10im 16
How did you put that filter on? Any problems with it?
What model number is it?
i clamped the filter on to the top of the carb and have had no problems at all with it. im not sure the model number of hand.
He has the filter on top... but the one on bottom is better... but you get the smaller filter with the kit because it is of course cheaper.
- llia
will that bigger filter make much of a difference in the power?
Car looks great!
By chance, did you buy it from a former 3geez member that went by the name Wees87lx?!?! I could swear that's the exact same car...plus you mentioned the low miles, and he had a Weber too. Just wondering....![]()

Black '89 Accord LX-i sedan - 436,600 miles and still going strong!
Black/Red '04 Honda CBR 600 F4i -256,100 miles and also counting quick
Yep, when he mentioned the car I knew that it had been bought from a member on this board. He doesnt know model #'s because he didnt do any of the work on the car..lol.
Nate.
yes actually i did buy it from someone else and didnt do the work. i dont see anything wrong with it. and im workin on it to make it an even more awesome car.
That's good shit man! Hey c'mon guys, he bought the car, he's not hiding the fact that he bought it this way. ...and he's here to be a part of the 3G's board. There's tons to learn here on the board. By the looks of it, you got a real nice looking car, and ur already at a great start. Keep with the same idea that the former owner had: a project is never finished. There's always something else to do.Originally posted by 87AccordLXsdn

....actually, as it's already been brought up, one of ur first projects could be to pull out all that vaccuum mess.
