    Question Places for mods

I just graduated from college and bought a 2000 EX V-6. Now that I have money, I wanna pimp the sh*t out of it. I've been to www.modacar.com and several other places, but am coming up short on performance parts for my 6th gen. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

www.comptech.com links me to a computer site BTW Basically, my plan is to get the car running low 13's, or as far as i can go, while maintaining every bit of original driveablility. I want to pretty much redo everything from intake to throttle body, headers to muffler first. Then, possibly a low-boost (not sure how far i can take my car) super/turbo kit, aftermarket ECU system (haltec, etc.) and some reworking of the fuel system and cooling system. I got soooo many ideas and I'm really excited cuz i just got the car today. Thanks!!!

    www.comptechusa.com

Ok, here's the correct link I tested this one, lol :lol

To discuse your car go to www.honda-acura.net they have a accord section that has allot of 6th gen members. You'll need to register to enter the site, but do it, it's worth it.

You also might want to take a look here
    http://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=2

This site says it's down for maintainance. I personely do not like it, to many people that are all to eager to shaire the wrong advice. But who know's, maybe the 6th gen people got it together.http://board.hondasociety.com/

From what I have seen, there arent to many mods for the v6's.there have been a few turbos for them I have seen completed but the problem is that the cars are really heavy and the parts arent to readily available from the motors perspective.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep searching, and if I have to, I'll have some stuff custom made for me. I'm going for a sleeper look, so rims and window tinting is all I'll do to the outside.

Cool. What 1/4 mile time you guys think I could achieve with intake to throttle body, and headers to mufflers alone?

if you get the comptech headers, a comptech supercharger, exhaust, and maybe cams. that should get you in the 13's. also, be very careful with your transmission! the transmissions in those cars are weak and have problems. The first thing that I would do with that car is get a transmission cooler.

yeah the stock engines can waste trannies in those cars easily. Ive heard stories of clutch packs exploding and slamming the car back into like 2nd gear when youre going 80mph or so... thats like slamming on the brakes..
