    DC Sports cat-back??? look

Ok I was under the belief that pacesetter was the only cat-back available... Check this out: go to http://performance.aftermarketperformanceparts.com/ and do a search for part # HCS7010

    could it be???

well that part number is not listed on the DC sports website, but the catback for the 4th gen accord is part #HCS7011, so i guess it would make sense that #HCS7010 would be for the 3rd gen accord. I just sent them an email asking if they ever made one for the 86-89 accord. I will let you know what they say.

Didn't they discontinue the 3rd gen catbacks?? I think Jim should be able to confirm this.

look at the site, they dont have any in stock and it says you have to call them for special order. So when you placed an order they would probably call DC sports to order one, then DC sports would tell them that they dont make them anymore.

Ok, story goes they made a trial run of 30 a couple of years ago. After the 30, they decided to NEVER do it again. I've seen them on a couple of web sites since 2000. Every time I've called to confirm that they actually have it on hand in their hands, I got told, nope sorry we don't have it, it's been discontinued. Shortly there after, they remove it from the web site. But, ya never know, they just might have one of the 30 just sitting collecting dust, or more than likely, they haven't removed really old info from thier data base. Give em a call and ask if they have it in thier warehouse where someone can physically grab it and touch it. If they say they would have to order it from DC Sports, the games up, no dice. Tell them it is not longer calaloged and need's to be removed from the website.

But hey, I got my finger's crossed for ya. In my mind, getting a hold of one would be the coolest thing somebody could get.

Haha 30? How sad.. oh well. I wonder if they would make them again for a group buy or something.

Not unless thier idea of a group is like 1 to 3 people. We are really bad on that kind of thing. Another sad thing is how much thier systems sell for today, $450-$580.

Haha i was gonna call till i saw steves post. I would pay the price for the DC Sports cause it is high grade and i like the tone of the DC exhaust. Damn you got me excited again and it sucked when i called modacar.com and the guy said they had it so i placed the order and never shipped so then i called and they didnt have it boy was i mad but you can expect that from modacar.com. They did that with the Koni Yellows and Jim had called them to tell them they never made them for out accord then i got an email saying they were NLA and i just laughed cause they made that up as i now knew they were never produced. But if people were serious we probably could get them to produce it but i am willing to bet we would not get the money up and quantity. If they had an order for 20+ and the money waiting i think they would do it but its all about demand.

No one disses my car, well except for my 69 impala owning friend, but he disses ALL hondas. All I ever get is complements, There is plenty you can do to the 3geez. If its too slow just swap in a B series. Still, even a lightly modded A20 can still beat a nice % of cars. Lastly, that is a pretty decent list of mods you have there... If its a waste of time, then why did you spend all that time + money on it?

Hey, theirs not many parts really change the power of the 95 either. Best thing to do is drop in a H22, instant major increase and their's a ton of mods avaliable to keep on going higher still.
The stock 2.2L four has very little avaliable.

I emailed DC one more time just to check to see what it would take to get them to make the exhaust again. I just thought i would check one last time and im sure someone has them sitting on their shelves. But if i find anything which i doubt i will let you guys know about it.

I tried ordering that exhaust once. I beleive it was around 1997 or 98. I was asking if they had a different version for the hatch being that it is three inches shorter than the sedans. They replied saying that that exhaust was no longer available.

Yeah from what i know they only made a small amount and i would imagine that someone has it sitting on a shelf with an inch of dust on it because i dont know of anyone that has one. I called a lot of places though and no one has it. Oh well we tried again and the guy replied saying a group of 10 wasnt enough to get them started again.
