00 prelude cd player in 87 accord :) hehehe

Ok i posted earlier on if it would work or not. But i went out to my car and started digging in. A 2000 prelude cd player will hook up to an 86-89 accord. I was looking all over the internet. all honda did was change the connector type. So what i did was just started matching wire to wire. because the colors haven;t changed. so i hooked the power up and the antenna. just to see. and yes it does work... i am happy i love doin this kinda stuff.

yeah... you could theoretically get some queer stock GM or Chrysler radio to wire up so you could use it, it just wont fit or plug in. Some of the newer accord decks are nice, my mom has a 6 disk in dash cd player in her car... it sounds pretty nice. Too bad we dont have double din openings or i woulda got one and wired it up.
