    camber correcting

ok, i need to fix my camber. so i need to know if its possible to make my own camber kit, and how. or if i should just get the 2nd gen lude arms. i want to know how much they are and what exactly i have to do to get them to work. oh, by the way, its only in the front. thanks.

The 2nd gen lude arms would be your cheapest option. They will run you probably $30-40 at the yard and new ball joints ($~30 a side) is recommended. Eric (POSCarb) has a how-to on it here

one of the other things ive noticed over time is that the increased length of the prelude arms makes the car handle better. when turning and diving into a corner you dont get such a positive rool in the camber and caster curves. makes the car much more stable in a high speed corner.

    good stuff.

Changing the length of the upper arm (what you are doing) will affect not only your camber, but will also change your toe settings. Plan to get an alignment as soon as you're done. For $67 I'd hope that the ball joints and seals were in good condition. My arms without joints were $30.

When I called around Tucson for a 4-wheel alignment, the best deal was $50 at a Honda dealer. If you're confident about your rear wheels you could just get a front-end alignment for $10-20 less. Plan to pay $35-60 depending on what you choose to do and whether on not you find any good deals.

wow, thats fairly cheap. i dont know about my rear wheels, i might just do a front end because theres really nothing to do about the rear. well, if i finish putting the arms on today, ill go get one. thanks mike.

I thought that you said that yours were in good shape. I got mine at an Autozone for $35 each. I called around and found that one of the 24 hour locations had some in stock.

how much longer are the arms? if you were to guess up to how many degrees would it fix? I have a camber kit and it is as far out as it will go and my camber is still off around 2.0 degrees. My car is lowered about 2 3/4". Would i be able to fix my camber with those arms.

yeah probably. i think that thats pretty much your only other option. actually i konw you would be able to because you can modify them even more for more adjust ability by making the slots longer. so i would go get some.
