Im getting ready to put the regulator but I do not no what to set it at what is a good pressure and whats the highest you can set this with out doing harm.:smokin:

I have a cosmo racing blue regulator and I have had it up to 40 but gas mileage sucks so now I only bump it up a psi or so it has really helped me stop leaning out in the top end.
if you want, you can run full pressure to ur fuel rail by taking the vacuum line off the regulator on the end of the fuel rail and plugging it.

how much did your regulator cost and where did you get it?
about 115 of ebay do a search for "89 accord"
when your tune your fuel pressure you realy should take it to a dyno so you can find the sweet spot.

Unfortunately I have no idea where one is around here and I don't have the money.
look in the phone book but in to it cost like 50 bucks for 3-4 passes and that should be enough to set fuel. If not set it at 39psi that is a safe range. I dont know what you have done so I hesitate to tell you to add pressure. Intake exaust you should not have to up the pressure if you have more done tell me and I will make a few calls and see what my dyno man or my shop say.

What did you expect the price to be I thought it was very reasoniable espically sense it comes with all the hardwhare hoses and a pressure gauge.
So 1988starter the guy who dynos my car said that with what you are running you should set your regulator to 55-60psi at idle with the vacumeline on(pressure should go up 5-10psi under load).Remember though this is not based on a dyno run.

Are you sure because I think stock is onlt 35-37 I am not saying you are a wrong I just want to make sure because I don't want to ruin my engine at all BTW I get shitty mileage if I have it around 40
Hayes manual stock fuel pressure 33-39psi at idle.You have done quite abit to add air to your car so you have to add fuel. It is not only my opinion but that of my dyno tuner too that you need between 55 and 60psi are other strong opinion is that you should take your car to the rollers.chose the low side of this if you are uneasy about it but you should know that the more power you make the worse your fuel economy becomes its one of the prices we pay.

keep me posted and get on a dyno when you can because that is only based on what you have done not on how it all works together but you should find some horse power by adding the fuel pressure.
you live in new york you should just come to toronto hit the dyno here then join us at niagra falls for the toronto meet in june.Ill tune my ride with you im giong to need to anyway.
