    Ayeobe's 1988 Notchback EX-i beater

Good day ladies and gentlemen! I just got myself a 400$ 3g in the rust belt! It's prety clean to be honest, just a gaping hole in the drivers footwell but otherwise quite nice.. As far as a Quebec car is concerned heh.

168 000km, transmission shifts like a dream. Needs a couple balljoints (Im SHOCKED lawl)
The off switch for the passenger side window is MIA so the passenger is SOL if they want to lower thier window.. the passenger side mirror is MIA so im SOL if i wana see in it.. Power Steering is missing almost all the reservoir, so i gotta make a trip to Honda and refill it.. pop-ups dont work, front right fender is dented, and the thermostat is stuck opened. The exhaust leaks, too. It also has a CEL once in a while, likely for misfire.
Otherwise, when it's behaving, it's a nice drive! The interior is mint too

    PICS!

that does actually look pretty clean for a car from out east. white coupes always look good.... i would honestly rather have another 3g for a winter beater than my stupid camry hahaha

Yeah, even though its not in the best of shape, it sure beats having a meh car as a beater. Its got a hole rusted through the floor, cos of salt water, and its over-all beater-ish, but i think itll last a while, with good rustproofing. I think it's drinking gas like a V8 though...

Moar pics.. I parked it in the tempo with my sedan.

In other news, i still havnt figured out the headlights. the retractor switch works fine, the plugs are all in place, but ive yet to do more research. It got quite cold out there after an hour.
Also found out my fuel lines are rusty and leak a bit, that sure explains the shit gas milage... fuckin Quebec.

Check relays, may have damage or need repolarized if the flips were physically stuck via ice or body obstruction like if they hit the hood, fender or trim.

In honor of me feeling like taking photos, here are just..a bunch.

Decided to rep some NW Classic Honda stickers. The sedan is too OEM for them, so here they are on the coupe!

Did some electrical troubleshooting on the radio lights and pop-ups. Radio has proper power and ground for the lights, but it dosnt light up. Does anyone know if the AM/FM light dims on the analog radio when you turn the lights on? i know the digital radio is like that..

Also, im simply missing my retractor relays. They arnt there at all :P

The pre-facelift trim is nice being flatter, but for me I still find the 88-89 Body Trim and overall looks very sexy. Don't get me wrong, I had a 1986 LX-I Sedan for years (white w/ reddish-brown interior) and I had so much fun with that car. Y'all finding these coupes aren't helping me! I want another coupe' so bad. Oh well, I might just see if I can wiggle my nose and come up with the money for this '95 LX Wagon I found. Hehe

Oh, btw. On your Analog Radio question. Yes those lights dim just like the clock when you turn your lights on. I would turn on my turn signal and watch my automatic shifter lights dim, bright, dim with my first '89 LX B49-M Sedan.

Good to know.. im hoping maybe both bulbs inside the radio are burnt, therefore not completing the circuit at all.. but i gotta check em, and they're tiny as hell lol.. As for the coupe..wish it was a hatchy, but this is basically a rolling carcass, its prety rusty..

Tore down the interior some, to get to the problem areas...so far, the passenger floor is a bit holy, the drivers side floor is swiss cheese, and th rear right wheel well... i missing. The structure, though, is all intact, and mint!
