    Locating the engine model #

    I know this may sound pretty incompetent, but I've looked and looked for the engine model number on the engine of my 87 Accord (4DR LX). The book shows it in between what should be spark plug wires 3 and 4, but it's just the exhaust manifold. I have no clue where the area marked is. Any help is appreciated.

    Try looking to the left of that. Since your car is a DX, you should see A20A1.

    look under the distributer !

    like ACCORD EX said, look under the distributor, but it may be covered in grease and dirt. go in with a rag.

    yeah propably rusted too ! but it's stamped so you'll be able to read it !
