    URGENT!!!!!!!!...Starter kits

does anyone have a remote car starter kit for manual trannys???

    is this a good one???

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=14934

i would get it pro. installed...it is made by Ultra...never heard of them...then again never really looked into remote car starters since i didn't know what they made them for manual trannys/

little help...and if it is good...is that the usual price for them???

    thanks

I'll sell you mine for $29. It works with your existing alarm.

huh? Don't all Lx i's come with freaking power locks?

Why don't you just get an alarm/pager/remote starter? It will run for about $300 or so installed.

Its a good price for the money and what your getting.

This is a decent company..... http://autopageusa.com/autopageproducts.htm
My friend has the RF-750 LCD and works nice. I think he paid $350 installed.
I don't know if you'll find it in the places you mentioned but i'm sure you'll be able to find it at local Stereo/Alarm shops. If not they should be able to get it for you.

I however have the Code Alarm 7600 series with the following:

    -Roll up/down windows
    -Remote Starter
    -Motion Detector
    -Knock Sensor
-Interior Motion Detector (used in convertibles alot)
    -Anti Code Grabbing feature
-Courtesy light turns on when i disarm the alarm
-and much more, can't think of them....

I will now get a pager system as well from CrimeStopper, this system below will adapt to my alarm and work together.

the problem with starters and manual trany is that if you forget to leave in neutral and you start the car it will move.

Every manufacturer will tell you that it is for "automatic" only due to safety reasons. However, you can make it work on any car.
Some shops might not install it (same reason above) and some shops don't give a shit, but they'll tell you that they are not responsible if your Stupid ass leaves it in gear

Email them to make sure its possible to hook it up to your 5 speed. Who knows, the way technology is right now, it might not be possible.
However my CodeAlarm 7600 is the latest in technology and the remote start works like a charm.
