    hood holder

I've got a chrome gas hood holder from a '02 VW Passat and made it fit to my car (I'm not very good in english!)

I like that ideal that looks a little odd with the angle i would think it would be at a different angle to close properly. Nice work though. Im gonna have to do something similar to the trunk to hold the weight of my amp rack up.

No, its not so hard, you have to calculate so it goes correct, and weld the holders on...

Isn't that the JDM accord? I saw the non-flip ups. Maybe that could be why it redlines higher b/c I thought they also max out at 140-145mph also. Can anyone confirm this?

the first gauges you see I've made myself i paintshop pro, therefore the high redline, the white gauges are made by Paul Aerodeck86...

I have never had it over 135 mph (215kph), so I don't know about this...

i have a similar concern..id like thge hydraulic hood lift that would be sweet..but my hood support clip to keep in in the front of the engine bay is like gone...stupid plastic clip fell into my bumper..anyways i need to new way of clipping it in there so i can keep it up front stead of in my trunk...gets really annoying
course soon ill have a bra and open my hood alot less..heh

im actually gonna use the Maxima Hydraulic hood support when i do mine cause its a lot stronger and holds our light hood good. Also its a little bit longer. If u could find an Acura twiin hydros in good shape, i would defenitely go for it, but good luck taking the rivets out thought.

THe ones from the maxina has just 4 10mm bolts on it, Two on top and two on bottom. and also it comes with a lock that locks the hydro (silver arm) to the outer black casing so ur safe even under high wind and not worry about getting the 30lb hood wacking ur head.
