    moonroof

well today i got in my car and since it was a nice day i decided to open the moonroof. well, i hit the button and all i heard was the motor trying to slide the glass back. so now i have a non-functional window in my roof. first thing i thought of was that there must be something blocking the glass from sliding back. but how could that be, since the moonroof's been closed all this time? nothing could have lodged in there.

o well. just checking to see if you guys had any suggestions

If it's been closed for a long time the rubber seals and such might just be kinda stuck, and the motor isn't powerful enough to break the seal. You can open it manually by taking off the little round plastic piece in the headliner (towards the back, right where the motor is) and I think it takes a 3/4" drive to turn it, but I can't remember exactly. If you get it to open and it still doesn't want to work, then I'd say it's new motor time
