    My complete works 1990-present

I wish I had pictures of every car that I have owned but this is as close as I can come to that. Here are all of the cars that I have owned or part-owned throughout the last 13 years.

    78 Honda Civic

    1989 Mazda 323

    Of course my 87 Accord

I had another 86 Accord DX that I bought for $600...fixed a leaky brake line and sold for $2900. I don't have any pics of it.
I also had an 82 VW Rabbit Convertible that I lowered but no pics of it either.

At this time, my girlfriend had an 88 Accord LXi that we lowered, painted the moldings, put a nice stereo in and rolled on both wires and 16s.
Then she bought an 88 Cabriolet that we showed for a while. It was lowered with completely painted undercarriage and shaved emblems and handles with all white and yellow interior and chrome 16s. It also had a bunch of chrome stuff in the engine and a complete autotech stainless exhaust and a GTi engine and transmission.

After we broke up (damn I hated losing all the money and work I put into those cars) I worked on my next girlfriend's car which was a 97 Jetta that we lowered and put a small stereo in with chrome 17's. She actually beat my accord at a show once.

My purple 89 CRX Si with a ZC motor swap. (I didn't keep these wheels, they came on it and were sold quickly.) This car got stolen.

My 91 Civic standard model with a ZC Motor swap

    My 94 Cadillac STS

After I bought the Caddy and sold the white Accord, I bought an 88 Accord LXi and commuted in that for a year. I bought it for $1000 and traded it in for $1500 on the Wagon.

The Prelude (paint coming next month)

The wagon (in the bodyshop now.)

You can believe me that I'm not rich. Until the last two years I have never earned over $9 an hour. In fact, I paid for the civic completely with a paper route and odd jobs. I didn't have a "real" job until I was in college. That is when I bought my white Accord. I have given up a lot of things for my cars. I am a cheap ass bastard in everything else I do. That is the only way I can afford to spend money on my cars like I want to.
I just turned 28 this month. Someday I will grow up.

Damn i have only had my 3 89 Accord Coupes but i feel your pain i pretty much put all i have into my cars but i enjoy it and hope to get into the show scene this summer. Latetly i have been dumping everything into my car because my plan is to get 90% of it done by august before i go for my batchelors degree and im gonna be working 45+ hrs a week so i may be able to pull it off. But i have to do the full motor swap and all the body work and interior so its gonna be a lot of money but i have to do it before i go back to school.....

I did all of that myself. You basically just build the box and amp rack and then use thin wood to make faceplates over everything. It really is pretty simple but it is very time consuming.

I used 3/4 inch plexiglass on the front of the box and some cheap lexan stuff that I got from Lowe's for the amp rack. The lexan is only a few millimeters thick and I would never use it again. It flexed too much and scratched very easily. I have both of those amps for sale for $600 if anybody wants them.

Wow, it's nice to finally get to see all your cars you owned before. I still rememeber when you posted about it but it was too bad the CRX was stolen. Did they ever find it? As for spending your money wisely, I totally know what you mean although I wasn't very good at it sometimes (actually, alot of the time LOL). But I bought my body kit and rims and all the crap earning minimum wage so it's not impossible. I just worked alot of hours.

    Thanks guys,
My cars are my main hobby and I just can't be happy with a stock car so I keep on working on them.
Hopefully the Prelude will turn out so good that I can never beat it and I can slow down a little bit.

The amps are Audiobahn A2200HCX and A275HCX. The big one is 1600 watts at 1 ohm (2x200 at 4 ohm) and the little one is 2x75 at 4 ohm or 1x600 at 1 ohm.

And I never worked at Wal-mart
Most of my career has been working for a newspaper and at Safeway. I was a paperboy, then worked at Safeway and now I am a copy editor and Regional Spelling Bee Director at the newspaper.

    Thanks Uneek.
I always try my best to be helpful give everybody the respect they deserve. Of course if they are and idiot I will just try to avoid them (but not always).

The wagon is in the bodyshop right now. It is getting a bunch of stuff shaved like the emblems, front and rear washer squirters, the body seams, side moldings, rear door handles (fronts will be done right before I get it painted), and the rubber bumper step and holes. I'm not sure what color the primer will be yet. I told him I either wanted white or tan so I guess I will find out when I pick it up.

I'm trading some stuff for all of the work. The guy is doing it in his spare time after work (he works at a body shop). I am guessing that it would be somewhere near $2500. We paid $2800 to shave everything on the Prelude. We were willing to go the extra mile on that because that is going to be the full show car. It has to be perfect. The accord I won't be as picky about because it is the daily driver.
