    Fender question

Apologize for what many may feel is a stupid question, but I need help. Is it a certain year that has the light in the fender or do you have to get a custom fender? If so, where can you buy front fenders with lights in them. Thanks!!

you buy the lights... they are called SIDEMARKERS... they can be bought in many shapes and sizes... just go to the local auto parts store or search online

So just minor cutting, and then with the wiring, is it very difficult?

actually you drill a hole... they have a hollow bolt on the back side that gets wire fed through... the wiring is simple because its all in the fender... you have to remove the inner fender liner... then its a two wire hook up off the existing lights

Here's a couple shots of mine.

These required a lot of material to be removed. (about 1"x2.5" rectangle) But just make sure you do it slowly and very gently b/c that fender is not indestructable, it's very soft sheetmetal and will bow, warp, dent very easily.

PS>> Make sure you get a can of clearcoat spray paint, and spray the shit out of the area that you just cut. Try not to get too much clear on the outer surface of the paint, focus more on the newly cut surfaces only. This way you'll prevent any future "trouble" spots for rust.

Thank you very much for the info fellas. When I get them on I will post pictures. Another question, although it is not performance....do you have to have your pics on a site in order to post them, or is there a way to download them from a disc on a thread?
