    Strting woes😢

So I'm driving to school when my alternator pulley wheel comes off (I'm assuming the previous owner took it off to replace the belt and didn't tighten it back..maybe??) in any case, I replaced the pulley wheel and the belt, went to start my car but it won't fire. It sounds like it wants to start but doesn't. I tried to start until the battery was to weak...had my battery charged, which I bought in Feb, this morning went to try to start it, and nothing. if the alternator is bad would it drain the battery over night? by the way, fuses look good. All help is definitely appreciated.

Put a voltmeter on it. It's doubtful that it would drain it stone dead, but possible. You have to check it out with some diagnostic tools.
