Talking Pics of my stereo setup

More pics . I just hooked up a bunch of stuff. All I wanna get next is door speakers and rear speakers. Maybe an amp for them, but thats not too important.

The Radio - Pioneer Premier DEH-P640

    The Amp - Zapco AG350

    The Subs - 2 JL Audio 12W3v2

Sounds pretty good I think. I need to play around with all the settings a little more to get it just right though. And I want new speakers all around.

omm... almost every one on here has audio mods!

and nice choice of subs and amp... i love how Zapco makes the amp so tiny and that HUGE heatsink!

hell yea man thats a good set up......i used to have 2 12 inch JL W0's in my car before i lowered it....it sounded pretty good with the seat up, but when the seat was down......it was so loud, and it sounded SO good....i was powerin with a 250 RF amp too......good choice on the speakers tho.....ive alwasys liked the way jl's sound

when i fold my seat down it doesn't sound as good. the subs don't hit as hard, and the crappy mids that the subs put out (mine aren't bridged or whatever) sound bad. with the seat up they sound great. just my opinion.

Why face the subs backwards, instead of towards where the people are actually sitting?

i have tried every combination and found that they sound best facing away.

you face them away from the seats so that the vibrations carry more.......thats surprising to me that it dosnt sound as good with the seat down......mine was 10 times louder when i had the seat down compaired to it being up......i wish i had beats again.....but i dont want the weight....oh well

i also only have 8" subs and a weak amp (i don't even kno what size it is, it's tiny.... but it was free). maybe with louder and better components it would sound better with the seat down.

I miss my JL Audio's too bad people have to steal. My Infinity perfects are not bad and i have to turn up the gain a little more since i changed headunits. But i will say the JL's did sound nice once broken in and i was gonna get W6's but my supplier couldnt get them. I was tempted to get 12W7's but the weight and amp required to move them was my issue cause i dont know how the bigger memphis would do with these subs.

u face the subs towards the back of te car so that the bass reflects off the trunk then travels forward. thats why hatchbacks have better sound than cars with trunks, cuz the bass reflects up the glass and into a whole open space.

nice choice of audio equipment, i bet it sounds really good

Nice amp and subs! I have the Zapco AG360 and 2 12" JL W0s. The Zapco was powering my speakers while I had an Alpine V12 working the subs. I really like the Zapco stuff.

Yah, you can use a key, from the top of the rear deck, or you can pull a lever from inside the trunk.

Everybody is talking about how it sounds like shit with the seat down. Mine is the opposite. Try turning your box around to face the inside, fold the seat down and put all the windows halfway down. Judging by the speaker combos I've had in my car, that should sound pretty good.

actually i didn't check and now i feel like a loser.. i have a DX and apparantly they dont fold down. i'm sure you could just switch it with a LX rear seat or something or do some modding but who cares really.

    if i was gonna haul 2X4's i'd get a 1/2 ton
