My heater control slider in my 89 wont slide all the way to hot. I pulled some dash panels to check to see if it was just out of adjustment and where the cable is clamped looks fine. I moved it right and left and the contol will go to cold fully but not Hot.
When i force it it just springs back. I am adding pictures and a video so you can see what is going on. Thanks for the help.

It was a heater hose clamp under the hood that was at just the wrong angle. I couldnt find it but when my wife came home i had her move the slider while i looked under the hood. lol
That's MUCH better than a mouse nest! Yay for easy fixes!

Man as soon as i read it i knew it was going to be that valve under the hood. Happen to me and once i figured it out i was so happy.
