you can keep the plastic lines... it should be better cause they can withstand higer vacuum then the rubber lines can.

i just removed all the rubber lines and replaced them this silicon ones, wrong color (red) but who cares. they are better than rubber and they can withstand higher temperatures.

The vacuum advance on the distributor along with the power valve port on the carb go to the manifold vacuum port shown on the step 5 picture. Look at the picture on step 4. There is a port labelled "intake manifold." That is the power valve port. Hope that helps...

I will have to second that opinion!!!!! Your car won't be good unless it has the best parts. So you need Weber!!!!!!

i clicked the link that shepard posted and it was just a link to the vacuum removal how to section?

basically for an extremely visual and sometimes slow learner as myself....

what do i need to keep (vacuum line wise, as in which numbers etc) to still have my a/c, choke and no manual secondary, is the basic question that i always come up with

    so?

    Everything is labled here:
    https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?t=11067

All the numbers are circled and are in big bold black print in the vacuum removal diagram. Directly below the diagram is an image for the vacuum secondary for those that don't convert to strictly manual secondary.

All you have to do is find the corresponding vacuum numbers in your engine, follow the black lines to see where they connect to on the carburetor and the engine, all the vacuum ports are colored YELLOW. Any vacuum port (YELLOW) that needs to be plugged has a RED STAR on it. You can replace the old vacuum hose with new 5/32" Vacuum lines. BLUE "T" fittings are the 3-WAY VACUUM LINE connectors.
