    Under construction

My wagon just got started, but at least I have a couple of under construction pictures of it.

    Here they are..

I was kind of disappointed that he wasn't a little bit further. He has had the car for a week already.

I know exactly how you felt Pearl. I've been there plenty of times

Did he tell you when it was gonna be all done?

My car will be going to the shop to get repainted after the winter, so I'll be going through the samething.

He is hoping to have it done by next weekend. I don't want to push him though. I would rather wait longer and have it be done well than push him and have it turn out like crap.
He just got laid off on Friday so at least he will have all day to work on it now. He was working at a body shop.

I used to do it myself and I can do it, but now I prefer to leave it to people who will do it perfect.
I am too picky for my own work now.

Paint and bodywork are the only things I have other people do. I do almost all of my own work for everything else. I've done three motor swaps, I did most of my own interior and all suspension work is done by me.

I plan on shaving the moldings, door handles and locks, washer squirters (front and rear) emblems, antenna and bumper step.

I really wanted to do the taillights with LEDs but I want to keep this car drivable as the daily driver.

To me, it isn't worth the money to take a slow car and make it a little quicker. A vtec Prelude isn't that quick and the Accord is a lot heavier. If I did do a motor swap it would just be an H23 out of an Si.
This car has a new motor in it already so I am just planning on putting a low pressure turbo on it eventually. The stock manifold off of a Mitsubishi Eclipse will bolt onto the engine of this so that should be plenty for me.
