    anybody ever heard jlw0 10s?

anybody ever used jlw0 10 inch subs? I can get a pair for $140 is that a good deal? are they good subs? I am not into that huge boom boom rattle the trunk shit, i want some good bass for rap and rock music. I want to hear the bass, I have now a pair of rockford fosgate 12" punch dvc subs (the old ones). I used to have a pair of jbl 10" gt subs and I loved those things, but i traded them for the RF 12's thinking 12"s were better, but i like the sound of 10"s so are the JL w0 10"s good subs? keep in mind, i do not want w3, w6, or w7. I want w0 cause they are only 140

Yeah Jls are sweet, I think rockford subs are overrated especially their z series subs... those downright suck. Newer JBLs arent too bad

so if i get the jlw0 10's i will be feeling the bump? i want mad bass, but not that sloppy bass. you know what i mean that distorted shit, i have heard 12w3s and they hit hard but they are expensive and need too much space, what about the 10wo they worth the 140? I can get them with a bandpass box for 200? they worth that? or should i go with some 10w3's? any other sub anybody recommend? thanks

I like my 12W0's when i had them and they sounded pretty good and i had them for a long time. I dont know if the 10's will be all that great unless you have a hatch. If you want the best bang for your buck crossfire subs are pretty good for a low end company. I put 2 10's in my girls car and it hits really hard but its a hatch back. The style you want is the DBW but i would get 12's i think they were about $100 ea and that was awhile back so maybe less if you can find them. But remember you need a decent amp to power your subs no matter which brand you buy.

How much are you willing to spend? Give me a dollar value and I'll tell you some great subs for that money.

I am willing to spend up to 250 for a pair of 10" subs, preferably with a box but without is alright also

Check out the e10kd2 and e10kd4... they are amazing subs, and 2 will run you $250 before shipping. I installed an e12kd2 (12" sub) in my friend's car and it's very loud and very clean.

If you want to go cheaper, you could get a pair of Pioneer 10's...
