    Cool 83 Accord only starts if fuel pump is removed

    Hi guys,
    My 83 accord kept dying and finally did when I was on a surface street. I suspected it was the fuel pump/filter so I replaced. Now, the car will only start if the pump is removed. Before I tear apart the carburetor or buy a bunch of parts, does anyone know of what else I can try or what else it could be? Thank you
