87 accord complete front end swap

Before i start, i have looked for threads on this topic and havent found anything similar. I have two 87 accords, my daily with 275k miles and a second one with 150k that's solid mechanically but the body is trash. What I want to do,if possible, is drop the engine, transaxle, cross member, and suspension out all together, lift the body off and drop my daily onto it. Would it be worth all the effort? The main reason I'm doing this is because my daily is auto and the parts is manual, but I would like to do the engine too because of the lower miles, the newer suspension and steering components would be nice but aren't needed. If it's easier to just pull the engine and trans together out of the top I'll do that. Or should I not worry about the engine and just do the trans? Lastly, im doing this on a tight budget since i only paid $400 for my daily and $50 for the parts car. Any advice helps. Thanks in advance!

These are unibody cars, so there's no taking the body off. If you want to swap, you have to pull everything out piece by piece and put it in the other car.

I know theyre unibody but I was asking if you could leave the engine, trans, halfshafts, shocks, steering rack, strut rods ect connected and drop everthing out of the bottom. Or is it easier to pull the engine and trans out the top.

Interesting question and I don't think it's been answered here before. You'll have to put the car on a lift and see what's what. You might be able to unbolt some crossmembers and a lot of other stuff and drop it all out the bottom, but it hasn't been done here. At least to my knowledge.

I don't feel like doing a never done before deal with this lol. I've decided that since the manual isn't in too bad of shape I'm just going to part out the auto. Thanks for the input though
